FAQ 1 – How do I get started?

Wired DXT Mouse – Serial Number (SN) Number (found on bottom of mouse) beginning with DXTC
Wireless DXT Mouse – Serial Number (SN) Number (found on bottom of mouse) beginning with DXTD

Charging for DXT Mouse Wireless

  • Plug USB charging cable into computer USB port and DXT Mouse micro USB port.
  • Charge fully for approximately 2 hours (to maximize battery life avoid short bursts of charging).
  • To indicate charging, the R LEDs will light up
  • A full charge is indicated when the R LEDs turns off.
  • A low battery will be indicated by R LEDs flashing

To Use 

  • Insert USB dongle into computer USB port
  • Switch on (on/off switch on base of mouse for models SN 7001 + only).
  • Sleep Mode: If the DXT Wireless Mouse is not used for approximately five minutes it will go into sleep mode.
  • Power off: If the dongle is removed from the computer, the DXT Wireless Mouse will automatically power off.
  • It is recommended that the mouse is switched off (using the on/off button on the base of the mouse) when the mouse is not in use or in transit.

FAQ 3 – How do I adjust the speed of the cursor?

On the base of the mouse you will find a button that allows you to adjust from 500 to 2000 dpi. 1 flash= 500, 2 flash = 1000, 3 flash = 1500 and 4 flash – 2000
You can further adjust the cursor by going to: Windows- Search for ‘Mouse Settings’

FAQ 4 – What can I do if the battery goes flat?

Connect your charging USB cable (supplied with mouse) into the computer USB port.
Plug micro USB cable into DXT Mouse Wireless which will then start charging.

Please contact us if you need a replacement USB charging cable.

FAQ 5 – Broken / lost USB dongle or charging cable

Contact us to get a replacement USB dongle/USB recharging cable.

FAQ 6 – How to re synch / re-connect your USB dongle.

SN:DXTD 000020000 + SN number (found on bottom of mouse)

  1. Please ensure battery on mouse is fully charged
  2. Turn off mouse (switch on bottom of mouse)
  3. Remove all mice USB dongles from computer.
  4. Turn on mouse
  5. Hold left, right and middle (scroll wheel) click buttons at the same time for 5-10 seconds then release buttons.
  6. On the bottom of the mouse you will see a blue LED flashing.
  7. Plug new dongle into computer
  8. Place the mouse next to the dongle. Pairing can take up to 10 seconds

Follow these steps to pair
1.    Switch off the mouse
2.    Plug in the USB dongle into computer.
3.    Switch on Mouse
4.    Run the software
5.    Click “PAIR”
6.    Hold the upper button and middle scroll and switch on the mouse. The program will first show “Pairing”, then after pairing is done it will show “success”.

FAQ 7 – Can I use DXT Mouse with PC, MAC and Linux

Yes you can use DXT Mouse with PC, MAC or Linux

Newest versions of MAC may use USB-C power cables. The DXT Mouse charging cable currently uses a standard USB port. If you only have a USB-C port you will require USB-C to USB adapter https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MJ1M2ZM/A/usb-c-to-usb-adapter

FAQ 8 – Do I need to use a driver for the DXT Mouse?

No drivers are required for the DXT Mouse Wired or Wireless

FAQ 9 – My DXT Ergonomic Mouse does not seem to be working properly. What can I do?

DXT Mouse Wired

Try reconnecting your DXT Mouse to another computer. Does it work?​

​Make sure you have not downloaded another mouse driver to your computer. It may affect your DXT Mouse

Try reconnecting your DXT Mouse and restart your computer.

 

DXT Wireless Mouse

Ensure computer is turned on.

Confirm DXT Mouse has battery charge. DXT Mouse will flash the R LEDs when the battery is low. Connect USB charging cable, the R LEDs should light up to confirm charging.

Try reconnecting your DXT Mouse to another computer. Does it work?

Make sure you have not downloaded another mouse driver to your computer. It may affect your DXT Mouse

Try reconnecting your DXT Mouse and restart your computer.

You may need to follow FAQ 6 above.
